LONDON, May 23. Thousands of Italians marched in procession from Saffron Hill to the Italian Embassy where they held an enthusiastic demonstration. Included in tie number was a veteran Garibaldian accompanied by a.number in khaki.
AMSTERDAM, May 23. A Zeppelin broke loose at Konigsfoerg witnout a crew and was seen travelling westwards.
The Frankfurter Zeitung's Vienna oorrespondent states that the hatred of the Italian business men and would-be politicians who have forced the war is so unutterably sincere and profound that the war can only be a terrible one.
ATHENS, May S3. Several officers and five hundred Turkish .soldiers who deserted at Smyrna were taken aboard a British warship.
