LONDON, May 23. Some newspapers publish the* following Cabinet forecast: Home Secretary, Mr McKenna; Colonial Secretary, Mr Chamberlain; Minister for War,' Lord Kitchener; Minister for Munitions, Mr Bonar Law; Secretary for India, Mr Churchill; Minister for Works, Lord Selbourne; Attorney-General, Mr F. E. Smith.

Sir George Reid, interviewed, said he rejoiced at the prospect of a truly national Cabinet; If the change had heen due to friction, all he could say was, "God bless the friction." He considered the formation of a national Cabinet the most practical move since the war began in order'to develop resources to the fullest limit. Sir G. Reid concluded: "The way in which the Opposition parties in all Parliaments of the Emoire have supported their respective Governments in furthering military activities has been on the same high plane of patriotism ™ ir own by the Parliament of the Motherland."

The Admiralty reports that 488 petty officers and men were .lost on the Goliath (blown up at the Dardanelles), mostly from the Devonport division.
