Near Jaroslav the Germans, heedless of countless losses inflicted by the Russians' very severe, artillery fire, are endeavoring to establish themselves on the sight bank of the San. At this point in the course of the day the Russians brought down several enemy aeroplanes which were directing the fire of numerous enemy batteries.

Under Przemysl tlie enemy is bom"bacding the western forts with intense artillery fire. Between Przemysl and the marshes of the Dniester, masses of the enemy attacked and reached the -entanglements, but were scattered by the Russian fire.

At the cost of enormous sacrifices the «nemy captured the trenches of two l>attalions. The attacks of the enemy in the regions of Drohobyez, Stryi, Bolikoff, Dolina, Delatyn Kolomea, were vigorous but, abortive. The enemy losses in general are estimated at ten -thousand.
