... ~,. l6n#ON,. May 19. The American; Cpiisul visaed thirteen British reprisal prisoners a# Cologne. All were m excellent health', and tieconditions hare been improved. They are confined in an old military prison used for delinquent German commissioned and non-commissioned officers It is a gloonry and forbidding place but approximately clean. The cells are small and dark. The officers are supplied with the same food as other interned officers, and they have reading and writing materials and a, bathroom, and are treated courteously by the warders.
