ith to-n-girl's change of programme at the Opoia House another tmillin<* romance will be presented with a foui" reel film version of Edward PepJe's celebrated comedy drama, "The' Spitfire, ' featuring the popular photo-play star actor, Carlyle Blackwell. The story is that Bruce Morson, a younnAmerican returning from Egypt i~ robbed of some valuable jewels hi a London hotel and chases the thieves to the yacht "Spitfire" at Calais, which the thieves have taken command of under forged orders from the owner. Morson managed to get aboard, and promptly falls in love with Valda (Jirard's pretty daughter, who is also a spitfire, and believes the story told to her by the thieves, that Morson is a Customs officer spying on her in order to trap her father. Morson is then subjected to many indignities, but when the yacht is burned he heroically rescues Valda. The other iiems include "John Bunny" as n private in the army, "Sea Anemones," "The Miner's Peril,''' a most editing melodrama. The programme includes the latest war news in animation. The prices remain as usual, and the box pjan will be on view at the Theatre.
