A SUDDEN CALL
Among those who some time ao-o volunteered for service at the front with the Red Cross section were -Nurse j? £ e Jrnolds and Nurse Bessie Young of Hawera. These young ladies* rei ceived the call to duty at five o'clock t? iresx day .even» n«» and they left for Wellington by the express train this morning, and will sail to-morrow. Nurse ing Hawera Nurse Reynolds was preented with a travelling bag by her fnendf; ,A number of ptrsonal friends assembled at the station this morning to say good-bye to the nurses, who werf given a hearty send-off. Miss HOOSJ Mi L. O. Hooker, is also leaving with the contingent of nurse? sailing t<*. mon'ow. °
