SUICIDE
AUCKLAND, Dec. 18
John William Briggs, aged 46, married, a resident of Hobson street, fatally shot himself at th*e rear of a hoardinghouse i^his evening. He had been distressed on account of the recurrence of a trouble caused by an injury received in a sawmilling accident four years ago.
