(Received Sep. 23, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sep. 22. The Controller of Patents states that if a* German patent has been transferred to a British firm royalty -must be paid to ihe patentee both during and after.the war.
The Board of Trade is isuing teports from foreign consuls mentioning the classes of goodi hitherto imported from Germany which their countries (are now desirous of purchasing.
In view of Australia's action in seizing wheat, merchants are .discussing ihe question of cancelling contracts.
