EGMONT BOX COMPANY.

A special general meeting of tba Egmont Box Company was held on Monday. Th&'e was a representative attendance of the Taranaki dairy companies, with Mr Jacob Marx in the chair. The meeting was called for the purpose of considering a proposal to give the direotors power to construct a railway line in conjunction with the Tongoriro Sawnailling Company. The m«tion to give the directocs power was carried unanimously. -
