THE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE.
A provisional list of appointments of the permanent staff of the expeditionary force has been received by the local defence office. Regimental Sergt.-Major Dunham, of' Queen Alexandra Mtd. Riiies (Hawera) will be attached to A Squadron of the 2nd Mounted Regiment. Staff Sergt.-Major Dallinger (Haweia) will be Quartermaster-Sergt. of the Wellington Infantry Regiment which will be commanded "by Col. Malone, of New Plymouth!" Sergt - Majors McGlade (New Plymouth), Bonar (Stratford), Dudson (Hawera) will be attached to C Company, 11th Regiment. Sergt.-Major Hesp '(Waitara) will be attached to tha Yaiiitarv mounted police, divisional headquarters and Sergt.-Major Mahenrv (New Plymouth) will be posted to ths mounted police, and Sergt.-Major }se'.} (Wavcrley) will be acting Quarter-in:>.ster.
