ITALY'S INTERESTS.

LONDON, Aug. 10. The Times, in a leader, says that Italy well knows that the success of the Austrian arms will destroy forever her hopes of maintaining the freedom of the Adriatic. It is in the Adriatic that her most vital interests lie, and while neither Britain nor France can, at this stage of the hostilities, guarantee to Italy the acquisition of new territory, it may be taken for granted that neither this country nor its allies will offer any opposition to such action as i Italy may deem requisite to safeguard her future.
