BOY S MISSION BAND. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A capital programme was rendered in the Town Hall last night by theWellington Methodist Boys' Mission Band, and certainly deserved a much larger attendance.* The Band was heard to advantage in the concerted numbers, and the joung players in ■the quartettes and" duets were distinctly good. The item by the Midget quartette, whose average age is only 13, received well merited applause. The item the Farmers Whistling Boy, was one of the best items and nad tobe repeated. During the evening: Miss Clement sang two numbers, which were appreciated. The proceedings closed with the selection "The Empire," winch included well-known national songs and God Save the King,, lusty cheers being given for His Majesty. The Rev. K. O. Blamires briefly thanked the band for their veryexcellent entertainment. The band! play at Manaia to-night, and residents there should not miss, the opportunity of hearing them.
