PERSONAL ITEMS.
Mr R. H. Nolan, writing from London on July 3, to Mr B. McCarthy, says he expected to have his motor in a-fortnight when he hoped to make a tour of the provinces. He was present at the opening of the King George Dock at Hull, and had spent .several afternoons at Lords, and remarked that Dr Grace still took a ha,nd in the game. He proposed visiting the Dublin Horse Shew in seven weeks Mr and Mrs AY. G. White had just arrived from the continent. Mr McCarthy received the letter this morning, and judging by the contents it. Mould seem as yet Mr Nolan and his family were still in England.
