PATRIOTIC FUND: A SUGGESTION

To the Editor

Of course, the1 various committees would have to! meet and a^ree unanimously, which 11 have no doubt they would. * The band i would soon rfsise a lot more interest in themselves, and would at some later time easily raise the money to purchase their instruments, as everybody would remember how they came to the fore and showed their patriotic spirit in time of stress PATRIOTIC. Hawera. August 10. [Before this letter came to hand, Mr Kenrick. S.M., had offered to take charge of subscrintions for a patriotic fund.—Eel.]
