THE OPPOSITION'S OBJECT.
PARIS, June 14
The object of the Opposition in defeating the Ministry was to compel M. Poincare to submit to their dictation or make room for a more malleable President. This is the first time in the history of the Republic that a Government has been overthrown on its initial appearance.
