OPUNAKE.

(From Our Own Correspondent.} At a recent meeting of the management committee of the Opunake Tennis Club Ball preliminary arrangements were made for the holding of this popular annual function early in July. Dr Barron and Messrs Thorpe and Clarke were appointed masters of ceremonies. The joint secretaries were left to arrange the music and Mrs Rogers offered to decorate fhe supper table, which offer was accepted with pleasure. Given a fine night there,should be a crowded attendance, as the' management is a guarantee for an excepitonally enjoyable time.
