DUNEDIN, May 5. Representatives of the executive of the Railway- Officers' Institute at Dunedin waited upon the Hon. W. Herries at noon to thank him for the improvements effected in the service by the Act and the regulations of last session. In© > interview was/ very cordial. One speaker . said the Act had practically given them all they desired. He feJt absolutely'certain that re-classification would be carried out in the same thorough manner. Mr Herries gratefully acknowledged the remarks of the deputation. He said his desire was to work m entire amity with the different representatives and employees.
