ALLEGED BREACH OF GAMING ACT.
LONDON, May 5. Horatio Bottomley and Julius Elias, "representing: the printers, have been summoned for an article in John Bull containing a .proposal and rcchemes of tickets in lotteries run in Switzerland and called the Grand National Sweepstake and the John Bull Derby Sweep. In each ease a certain suni was promised to charities. Bottomley contended that the article constituted a Jftrfcimate newspaper controversy.
