AN UNLUCKY BY-STANDER.
DUNEDIN, April 27. On the footpath outside the Leviathan Private Hotel this morning, a man was putting cartridges into a revolver, when one got jammed. The revolver unexpectedly discharged and shot Thomas Bartlett, who was standing dose by, in the thigh. Bartlett was removed to the hospital.
