Mr Cook, speaking at Sandringham, said he considered Mr Hoi ••nan's figures concerning the light taxation of New South Wales as a .piece of sheer political effrontery. There never was a more hollow .mockery than to assert that three years of Labor rule had given us industrial peace. Labor rule has been signalised by the fratricidal policy of creating class hatred, which is increasing in the State to-day, and this feeling has reduced and will reduce the effectiveness of the working man's wages.
