ACTION FOR DAMAGES
BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. GORE, March 4. In consequence of a motor car running into an excavation on the main road, which was only lighted by a small lamp, Mr Wise, the owner of the ear, intends proceeding against the Southland County Council for damages. A passenger named Hood, a dentist, was thrown through the wind shield and severely cut.
