AUCKLAND, Feb. 7. The cricket match between Auckland and A. Sims' team of Australian cricketers was commenced on Eden Park yesterday morning on a good, moderate wicket. It will be continued, to-day , and on, Monday. , Auckland won the tossj and electing to bat, made a very fair display, compiling 251 runs for three hours forty-six minutes at the wickets. When stumps were drawn at 6 o'clock, Australia had compiled. 34 runs for half an hour's batting. AUCKLAND. First Innings.
