(Received Feb. 7, 10.30 a.m ) LONDON, Feb. 6. The King has approved of the appointment of the Right Hon. Ronald Craufurd Munro-Ferguson, Privy Councillor and member for Leith in the House of Commons, as .GovernorGeneral for Australia. .
[Mr Ferguson was born in 1860, was a lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards, and was a Lord of the- Treasury in 1894-5. He is a director' of the North British Insurance Company.]
