fV'' TUESDAY, DECEMBER 23. , The Government Meteorologist telegraphs as follows: — there is every prospect of bad wea- " ther and for a storm which appears to be approaching?fr^om the west; winds > westerly moderate to strong, and back- ' ing by west* to north,' and freshening .t6> gale; expect warm-and' humid, conditions, with increasing haze and -cloudiness-, heavy rain is to be expected, following fall of glass shortly; sea increasing; tides good.
