MEETING IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE.

At a mass meeting of a thousand police in Trafalgar .Square, in support of the Metropolitan Police Union, speakers declared that 95 per cent, of the police are favorable to the union. The constable's wage of £1 7 S per week is inadequate to prevent the corruption arid tyranny which are being exercised on the force, the extent of which is not realised. The public are • invited'to support all trades unions. The police membership is 5000.
