PALATIAL RAILWAY CAR.

From an ordinary .vestibule a corridor leads past the krfcehen and pantry to a diningroom 9ft square, seating eight. Another corridor ■ leads past two staterooms, with two berths each, and two drawing-rooms, with beds and showers, into the parlor, 9ft x 14ft, furnished with fireplace, desk, tables, and chairs. The car is 82ft,31in long; 10ft 2in wide, and 14ft 3in high, weighing 75 tons. Mr Rea designed it himself.
