Sumner, who was arrested in connection with the murder of Miss Bradfield, has resided since the murder at a Liverpool lodging-house. He disguised himself by shaving off F a. distinctive t eyebrow, wearing spectacles a^id other devices, and frequently walked the streets where a former schoolmate recognised and denounced him.
