The-miners' delegates are negotiating to-day with a view to resuming work. It is understood they are endeavoring to make the reinstatement of old watersiders a condition, hut the Union Company is determined to give preference of employment to the new union. ■ ':
Inward cargo trade was resumed in earnest to-day.
