MONDAY, DECEMBER 22., The Government Meteoroligist tele- „ graphed toklay: "Southerly moderate to s'worig winds, equally at times and backing by west'-to north; the weather will probably be dull and overcast, with •showers on the coast; the barometer has a rising tendency, but falling after about 24 hours; sea heavy on the coast; tides good. The prospects of the weather are yery unfavorable for '"Christmaetide.
