AUCKLAND, Dec. 21. Several disturbances occurt-ed on the waterfront late last night, the result Ijeing that two men were arrested for assault.

Shortly after 10 p.m., when the Ma-r nuka was preparing to leave for Sydney, two firemen disagreed concerning the. recent strike, &nd, as a result one. named Drewing, was taken into custody.
