LONDON POLICE
• (Received Dec. 20, 8.50 p:m.) LONDON, Dec. 20. Unrest is reported amongst the police. A young constable when going ott^jiuty .dropped a ticket disclosr ing the existence of a union which, it is believed, has five hundred members. At several stations constables declined to do duty until the conditions were improved. The authorities are smoothing over the incidents and promising full consideration.
