ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE WORLD'S PICTURES

The new programme presented at the Opera House on Friday evening is an excellent one in every respect, and it was heartily enjoyed, and 6O was the music provided by the Lyric Symphony Orchestra. The star attraction on the programme is the comedy picture • entitled "Wild Animals at Large." The animals escape from a. circus menagerie, and strange indeed are the scenes that follow. It is a capital picture, and causes no end of amusement. "Diamonds in Brazil" is one of Gaumont's educational pictures, and a Vitagraph drama, "The Love of Chrysanthenium," is shown. The latest Pathe Kazette is excellent, as is also "Sight-seeing in Japan," which is conspicuous for the brilliance of the photography. A splendid drama, "The Christian," is a fine production of a, notable subject. The comics are well up to the usual high standard. The programme will be repeated to-night.
