CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 19. The cricket match between the Christchurch Boys' High School and the Auckland Grammar School for the Heathcote Williams Shield was concluded to-day, High School retaining the trophy by a narrow margin, after an exciting finish. Smeeton. the Auckland captain, made a century. ■* Wanganui College defeated Christ s College easily. Scores: Wanganui College, first innings 92. second innings 211; "Christ's College, 62 and 136.
