STRIKE AT LEEDS.
BY CABLB—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.
LONDON, Deb. 19. The Leeds Corporation's special strike committee, on which Labor is not represented, notified that strikers not returning to work to-night will be dismissed. A result of this ultimatum was that the tramway men resumed on condition that there shall be no victimisation.
The strikers are indignant at the defection of the tramway mep, particularly as 300 working corporation contractors were called out.
The posting of pickets at the municipal cemeteries to prevent volunteers from preparing graves has deeply offended the public. Many ladies volunteered to prepare food for men maintaining the public services.
