The Manchester Guardian urges an early conference between Mr Asquith and Mr Bonar Law. It adds that despite Sir Edward Grey's assurance in his speech at Alnwick, there is not too much time. It would not be safe to postpone the conference till Parliament meets, when the violence of party warfare will recommence.
