Reports from various parts of the district show that the continued wet weather has been disastrous to haymaking. In some cases the grass has sprung up through the hay lying on the ground. It is reported that between Mokoia and Ohangai there was a weather belt like that of an American blizzard. The hail is said to have been extraordinarily large, and naturally di,d a considerable amount of damage. ' ! IS A NEW WOMAN.
