DUNEDIN SEAMEN DECIDE TO WORK.

DUNEDIN, Dee. 19. A meeting of the Dunedin branch of the Seamen's Union was held, when the proposals of the shipowners governing the Working conditions at present under discussion in Wellington were submitted for approval of the members. These proposals provided for the resumption of employment on certain terms which do not involve a material departure from the existing agreement, which, however, is to be registered under the Conciliation - and Arbitration Act. After a meeting lasting for about half an hour, those present decided by an overwhelming majority of votes to return to work. The meeting closed with cheers.
