Armstrong, who is 26 years old, was charged with having murdered Albert Wilson. Counsel for the defence stated that Armstrong was a highly-respected resident of Mascot. Wilson had been worrying and pestering him for some time past, and said he, would have Armstrong's wife by fair means or foul. Armstrong was obliged to seek police protection. Last night Wilson came to Armstrong's door and drew a revolver. Armstrong fired first, and afterwards surrendered to the police.
