ANOTHER VICTORY

The New Zealand cricketers' second match against the Northern Districts, which on this occasion is being played at Glen Innes, resulted in another easy victory for the visitors. Continuing their first innings, the New Zealanders totalled 232. Patrick, who scored 48 not out^ yesterday, gave a capital exhibition. Their opponents found the bowling of Sandman and Snedden too good. Snedden was especially deadly, he securing the remarkable average of three wickets for one run. The Northern Districts men, who had scored 86 runs in their first innings, were disposed of for 100 in the second innings, New Zealand thus winning by an innings and 46 runs. , The New Zealand scores were: Hemus 24 Snedden 12 Tuckwell ~ 16 Hickmott .'. 37 I Reese .. ; . ; 40 Sandman 0 ,Somervell & Patrick '. 57 Carlton 12 i Bennett 15 Tattersall, not out 4 Sundries ..: 10 Total 232 In the Northerners' second innings, Sandman took six wickets for 40 runs, Snedden three for 1, Carlton none for 9, Reese one for 10, Bennett none for 16. ■'■'!'■
