Mr G. J. Bavley, clerk in Mr P. O'Dea's legal office, has received word that he has passed his final law examination, and qualified for admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court.

Mr E>. G. Harley, who for thirteen years has been manager of the National Bank at Outram, was recently transferred to Stratford, in succession to Mr W. Morant Bayly, Prior to leaving for his new position, he received a presentation from the residents of the district.
