LONDON, Nov. 14. At the Press banquet, Sir J. O. Fairfax, of Sydney, said that he found the London, papers brighter and faster to get news than those overseas. He hoped that an Empire Press Conference would meet in Australia in the early future. Briefly, arrangements were practically complete, for holding the conference in Canada next September. Mr E. Horton, responding to the toast of "The Press," said that the New Zealand press maintained the highest traditions of the English newspapers.
