DUNEDIN CHEESE.

LONDON, Oct. 8. To-day about forty cheese dealers and experts met Mr T. Mackenzie, after an inspection of the Dunedin cheese. Nine spokesmen testified to its excellent make, quality and condition. One said: "These are the best from New Zealand." Another declared that they ran the English closely. All emphasised the difference between these and last year's shipments, many of which showed carelessness in make, which some attributed to readiness of sale here. i

Mr Mackenzie admitted that there was carelessness, but assured them that past faults would be corrected in future.
