KING'S COLLEGE BOY'S COMPANY
Providing pleasure for every patron is the object of the programme fro be presented to-night at the Opera House ; when the famous King's College Boys' and Company of society entertainers make their first appearance in Hawera. A Cape Town paper says: "Here is a company of stars playing with the concerted action of happy sympathy and perfect organisation, and while 'itidiridnal brilliance is being constantly nafched across the footlights, the rays are so blended as to throw a glare of illumination throughout the performance." The College Boys have had the honor of appearing before their Majesties the King and Queen at the Coliseum, London. The boys speecialise in part singing of popular airs, quartettes, harmonious medleys, humorous sketches, rag time harmony, etc. The company includes Miss Marceline Botrl?.is, a soprano singer of whom much is anticipated, the Vienna trio musicians, who feature one of their members, Antonia Guarella, as a solo harpist of repute, Miss lona Auguste, child impersonator and soubrette, Mr Jack Shields, a comedian and fun producer on new , and original lines, Mr Phillip Lewis, operatic baritone, Messrs Holly^Leslie and Barn.y Hitching, singers, and Miss Ruby McDonald, musical directors. The box plan is at Cole and Donnelly's,, and | judging" by the number of seats booked a prosperous season is assured the King's College Boys and Company in Hawera.
