LONDON, Oct. 8. Playing in a match of 20,000 up against Harverson, St.evenson made a break of 919, which is a record with ivory balls. In the match between Recce and Gray, the former has scored 4666 and Gray 2236. Gray was in poor form, his best break being 114. Stevenson took seventy minutes to compile his record break. He was six times in difficulty. He scored largely at the top of the table, making one run of thirty-three close cannons, but his all-round play was brilliant.
