HAWKER BADLY HURT,
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received Oct. 9, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 8. The well-known Australian airman Hawker fell a hundred feet at Brooklands owing to a defect in the engine. He was seriously hurt and is unconscious.
