AN IMPUDENT FRAUD
.. ■ LONDON, Oct. 8. A clerk was convicted at the Mansion House for having advertised for two ironmongers' assistants in the name of a Wellington firm of storekeepers He undertook to pay half the passage money and received sums aggregating £12 from men who answered the advertisement.
