INCREASED NUMBERS

RT TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Oct. 8. The official records show a substantial increase in the number of divorces granted in the New Zealand Courts. Last year there were 274 petitions, and 222 decrees for dissolution of marriage, the latter being 61 in excess of the total for the previous year. Two judicial separations were granted, and there were four successful applications to declare nullity of marriage.
