MEXICO.
(Received Sept. 8, 10.30 a.m.) EL PASO (Texas), Sept. 7. Lieutenant Acosta, a Mexican, attempted to cross a bridge into American territory,with the alleged object of lulling Americans. He fired on American troops, and their officer returned the fire, killing Acosta.
