AUCKLAND, Sept. 6. The fii'st test match under League rules was played to-day, New South Wales beating New Zealand by 33 points to 19. About 20,000 spectators watched the game, which in the first half was in favor of New Zealand, who had the wind. New South Wales had the' game all their own way in the second half. The final scores were: New South Wales 33, New Zealand 19.
