THE MAJOR KEMP STATUE.

WELLINGTON, Sept. 6. in the case, in which Frank Harris and Co. claimed from Rora Kakaraia a sum; of £600 as the balance owing for making a statue of the late Major Kemp (defendant's brother), and in which the judge found in favor of plaintiff, Mr Justice Chapman found that the verdict was against the weight of evidence and ordered a new trial.
